Resources Collection cover image

With a new month comes a whole new batch of desktop wallpapers, lovingy crafted by some of the readers of this blog. They are all free for you to download, enjoy and install on your computer, iPad, iPhone or other device. Enjoy!

A few notes: 320 x 480 is for your iPhone; 1024 x 1024 is for your iPad; your desktop or laptop may take any of the other sizes depending on your monitor size and a host of other considerations. If you’re not sure of the size, just find one that looks like it would be pretty much the same size as your screen. Generally you set one of these are your wallpaper by clicking on the link to the image, then right-clicking on the image (once it’s open) and selecting “Set as Background,” “Set as Desktop Background,” or something similar.

Holiday at the Sea

Created by Anna Cirlot, Gautier, MS. I took this photo on a mini vacation with my family last week and kept thinking about this quote as my toddler danced through the waves at sunset. How many of us really understand what God is offering us in Christ?

Matthew 6:25-30

Created by Kristina Hansen from IL.

May

Created by Harold Sikkema from Hamilton, Canada. This watery garden consists of photographs of water, pouring into my bathroom sink; arranged, mirrored, colourized — and inspired by the dreary wetness that will spawn dreamy wildflowers.

Those Whose Hearts

Created by Eric Novak from Chicago, IL. The story of the prophet Hanani in 2 Chronicles is very short- basically he speaks God’s message, is thrown in prision and we don’t hear about him again until 1 Kings when his son is mentioned. However, Hanani’s words are a strong encouragment to the modern-day Christian.

He Is Wonderful

  • Why I Believe in Church Membership

Why I Believe in Church Membership

I believe in church membership. I believe in membership as a practical matter that allows a church to function well. But even more so, I believe in membership as a biblical matter that allows a church to faithfully follow the Scriptures. I suppose we ought to define our term. While acknowledging that membership can vary…

Even now, technological innovations and machine learning have a daily impact on our lives,…

  • Other side of the Wall

On the Other Side of the Wall

A story is told of a convalescent woman and the lovely vine that grew in her yard. Confined to her property during her long recovery from an accident, she turned her attention to the little plot of ground behind her home. She planted the vine on a cool spring morning, dreaming of the day when,…
