Upgrading Tonight

I got a bee in my proverbial bonnet tonight and have decided to upgrade from Movabletype 2.661 all the way to 3.1. I’m terrified that it will mess up all the customizations I have done to the site, most notably the commenting system. However, I’m hoping (and I’ll even admit, praying) that it will all go smoothly. It would be exceedingly difficult to piece the site together if it all blew up in the upgrade process, so let’s just hope everything goes smoothly. I really would like to have some of the new features offered in 3.1 so am ready to begin this. Here we go…

Update – Well that was easy. I’m now running version 3.121 and it seems to be working just fine. All that worrying for nothing…
