What Does It Mean to Fear God? – R.C. Sproul answers. “If we really have a healthy adoration for God, we still should have an element of the knowledge that God can be frightening. ‘It is a frightening thing to fall into the hands of the living God’ (Heb. 10:31). As sinful people, we have every reason to fear God’s judgment; it is part of our motivation to be reconciled with God.”
The Cosmological Argument – This video would make a great conversation starter.
Just Call Me – “I have often told people to just call me when they are tempted to some terrible sin, thinking that if we could just talk at that moment I could help them choose wisely. Thick Skin, Thin Skin – This is a good read for pastors, and especially lead or senior pastors. “In the pastorate you have to master the seemingly impossible art of having, at the same time, thick and thin skin. How can you possibly pull off such a feat? And why would such a chameleon-like skill even be desirable?”
Every Noise at Once – This is pretty interesting–a map of just about every kind of music with samples of each.
Knowing vs Feeling in Worship – Alistair Begg is both hilarious and profound here.
